The Deal

February's opening of Brick American Eatery one block from Rittenhouse Square was anticipated by Philly.com, Grub Street and Philadelphia City Paper, which dubs it an "approachable neighborhood restaurant." For $39, regularly $88, two can try anything on a menu of fresh seafood shipped in daily plus drinks at this new neighborhood gem.

With this deal, subscribers will:

• Choose any two appetizers, such as the already popular duck nachos with manchego cheese and avocado mousse, tuna wontons with wasabi aioli, or baked macaroni and cheese with wild mushrooms

• Select any two entrees, including the skate wing with cauliflower and roasted grapes, steak sandwich, or crab cakes with lemon pesto cappellini and summer vegetables

• Add two specialty cocktails, like the Brick margarita made with Jose Cuervo tequila and house-made sour mix, or the Morning Glory with Absolut Mandarin, St. Germain, freshly squeezed lemon juice and bitters (or beers or glasses of wine, up to $10 each)
