The Deal

K Restaurant & Wine Bar changed locations on the popular drag of Edgewater Drive last year but remains a local favorite according to The New York Times, which praised the restaurant in its "36 Hours in Orlando" feature. For $55, regularly $112, two can enjoy dinner with wine at this Orlando staple, which Zagat compares to "something you’d find in wine country" and bestows an "extraordinary" (26) food rating.

Select:

• Two appetizers such as fritto misto, fried calamari with fennel and lemon aioli; Cedar Creek clams with Andouille sausage, potatoes and saffron; or the shrimp and grits with Creole spices

• Two entrees including Fodor's-recommended mushroom-dusted filet mignon with Parmesan gratin; lobster macaroni and cheese; or wild salmon with asparagus risotto

• Two glasses of wine from the menu, recommended to you by K's "informative staff" who suggest "great" pairings according to Zagat (up to $10 each), or receive $20 toward a bottle such as the popular 2008 Silver Palm Cabernet (North Coast) or the 2010 Annabella Chardonnay (Napa Valley)
