The Deal

The Californian at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa has been named a AAA 4-Diamond restaurant every year since 2003, and Zagat rates its cuisine "very good to excellent" (24). Travelzoo subscribers can now dine oceanside here and choose three courses from the full menu for $55, regularly $110. 

The restaurant gives way to panoramic views of the Pacific from the dining room and outdoor patio, while the kitchen sends out what Zagat calls "wonderfully prepared" fare, made with organic, seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. With this deal, diners can select:

• First course: Any two soups or salads, like beet salad with figs, whipped ricotta, walnuts and applewood-smoked bacon vinaigrette; or agave-roasted butternut squash bisque

• Second course: Two entrees (up to $38 each), such as filet mignon with organic mushroom and rutabaga hash, pumpkin-seed butter and red wine jus; or Shetland Island’s sustainable salmon with roasted fennel puree, port-macerated raisins and pine nuts

• Third course: Any two desserts, such as poached pear croustade with walnut pralines and vanilla bean gelato
