To commemorate Cinco de Mayo and the OC Marathon, the first-annual OC Tastefest will be held Friday, May 4, and Saturday, May 5, and will feature some of the area's best restaurants, chefs and entertainment. These generous-sized tastings are from local restaurants, including Port Restaurant, Salt Creek Grille, Slater's 50/50 and Mama's on 39. The weekend's entertainment includes live music and cover bands playing classic and contemporary hits. On Saturday from 2-5 p.m., you can also watch a cook-off hosted by celeb chefs, including chocolatier Jonathan Grahm, Chef Scotty from 24 Carrots and Raya Belna from Food Network's "The Great Food Truck Race 2."
