The Deal

Uptown’s moto-i offers Travelzoo subscribers a $10 voucher that buys $30 worth of its exotic food and drinks. Valid from noon to 6 p.m. seven days a week, the deal includes any menu item -- even the brewed-in-house sake.
moto-i calls itself “the world’s first sake brewpub outside Japan,” but it is also known for its traditional Japanese fare including steamed buns, dumplings, noodles and sashimi intermingled with gluten-free and vegetarian options. All menu items are made-from-scratch.
The restaurant is as hip as it is affordable, so the $30 voucher goes a long way. Purchase menu favorites like the popular smoked-in-house Thai beef jerky ($4) or the homemade drunken noodle dish ($11). Sip one of seven sakes or eight specialty drinks, including the $6.50 sumo mojito (Futsuu sake, mojito mint syrup and fresh mint leaves) and good luck cocktail (Futsuu sake, fresh berry puree, mint and lemonade).
