The Deal

Sushi House is at the top of its game with "creative, impeccably fresh sushi and modern pan-Asian dishes" says Zagat, which rates the cuisine "very good to excellent" (22). Two can "become immersed in an Asian, all-white, winter wonderland" (Miami New Times) with $60 worth of food from the dinner menu for $30.

Part-owner and executive chef Jesus Contreras "incorporates the flavors of his native Mexico as well as South and Central America," says the The Miami Herald. Experience this fusion of flavor and create your own coursed dinner for two, with dishes such as:

• Spicy tuna tower appetizer, stacked with avocado and black tobiko, topped with teriyaki-marinated shitake mushrooms, garlic sauce and sweet wasabi sauce ($19 value)

• Volcano roll with spicy tuna, shrimp tempura, cucumber and cream cheese topped with tempura flakes, eel, avocado, black tobiko and finished with teriyaki and sweet wasabi sauces ($16 value)

• Crispy honey shrimp with rice noodles and tropical fruit chutney ($19 value)

• Strawberry wontons with confectioners' sugar and fresh berry essence ($10 value)
