The Deal

With more than 200 cars and motorcycles "from the historic to the futuristic" in its 300,000-square-foot space, the Petersen Automotive Museum "says more about the city than probably any other in L.A.," according to Frommer's. Admission for two people is $10 for Travelzoo subscribers (regularly $20) with this Local Deal.

Visit the museum's latest exhibit -- opening Father's Day weekend -- "Aerodynamics: From Art to Science," or any of the other rotating galleries. The museum's walk-through displays feature race cars, classic cars, vintage motorcycles, concept cars, celebrity and movie cars -- like the 1963 VW Beetle featured in "Herbie Fully Loaded" -- auto design and technology, and the history of the automobile.
