The Deal

Spend a day at one of the first horse races of the fall meet at Santa Anita Park with this Local Deal. For $35, you'll get access to The Turf Club -- the racetrack's most luxurious experience with prime finish line views -- with lunch inside, a program guide and valet parking. This package is regularly $72.

Set against the backdrop of the San Gabriel Mountains and opened in 1934, Santa Anita Park is Southern California's oldest racetrack. At The Turf Club, guests will experience upscale, sit-down dining either indoors or on The Turf Terrace, personal service, wagering amenities and comfortable seating with a prime vantage point of the finish line. The luxe club also features a Chandelier Room with palm trees and overstuffed couches. A dress code is maintained.

Lunch includes a choice of one entree (such as The Turf Club corned beef on artisan deli rye or the classic Cobb salad) and one dessert from the prix-fixe menu (such as a slice of pie baked fresh daily in the on-site pastry shop).

Vouchers can be redeemed starting Friday, Sept. 28, through Nov. 4, 2012. Not valid on Saturday, Sept. 29; Saturday, Oct. 13; Friday, Nov. 2; or Saturday, Nov. 3. Check the calendar for race dates. Lunch reservations are required and must be made 72 hours in advance. A strict dress code is enforced. Management reserves the right to refuse admission to patrons deemed inappropriately attired.
