The Fine Print

With this deal, you don't have to decide yet when to go. With this deal, purchase a voucher from Travelzoo then call the hotel directly at to make a reservation for desired travel dates. Once the room is reserved with the hotel, hotel cancellation policy prevails, and cancellations or changes must be made seven days prior to arrival or the voucher is subject to forfeiture. Hotel-imposed penalties may apply. Any unused credit will be forfeited upon check-out. This deal cannot be combined with other offers. No cash value. Taxes and gratuity are additional. The Deal

Surrounded by the Pacific Ocean on three sides, the majestic 5-star Terranea Resort has been lauded as a "little piece of paradise" by Frommer's. Travelzoo has negotiated an exclusive $225 package (regularly $475) that includes an overnight stay in an Ocean View room, $50 resort credit, complimentary parking and a waived resort fee.

Travel Sunday-Thursday through April 2012 or add $45 per night for a Friday or Saturday stay. The resort won a coveted spot on the Conde Nast Traveler 'Readers Choice Awards' for the Top 150 Mainland Resorts in 2011, and both the resort and spa were featured on Conde Nast Traveler's Hot List in 2010.

Terranea is home to eight restaurants and lounges and a top-ranked golf course. Originally the home of Marineworld, "its sloping green hills, ocean vistas and manicured lawns are among the most luxurious in Southern California." (Frommer's) Spacious Ocean View rooms feature stone bathrooms with a separate tub and shower along with a private patio or balcony.

Casita Suite Upgrade: Retreat to a 1,100 square foot Ocean View Casita Suite with indoor and outdoor fireplaces, kitchen and separate living room. For $860 (regularly $1790), stay two nights through April 30 – seven days a week. This deal includes $200 in resort credit along with a waived resort fee and free parking.

2 Bedroom Ocean Villa Upgrade: Bring up to four guests to lounge in a two-bedroom Ocean View Villa with a living room, den and full kitchen for $1070 (regularly $2625). This deal includes $200 in resort credit, a waived resort fee and a private garage. 

The resort fee covers wireless Internet, transportation within 5 miles and on the 102-acre resort, access to the putting green and fitness center with daily yoga and Pilates classes.
