The Deal

Catch some waves at an intimate boutique hotel about an hour north of Cabo San Lucas, located on what Surfer Magazine calls "one of the best champion beaches." This specially negotiated deal for $489, regularly $2180, includes a four-night stay for two people at the Hacienda Cerritos -- a celebrity hotspot -- and is available any day through April 2013.

Built into a private bluff, overlooking the pristine beaches and the Pacific Ocean, the hotel's 11 suites and bungalows boast semi-private pools, terraces, kitchenettes, carved stone fireplaces, historic furniture and artwork. Guests can choose from a deluxe master suite, bungalow, penthouse or terrace suite (based on availability).

Guests can relax at the pool and swim-up bar or take a quick stroll to the Cerritos Beach Club for food, drinks and live music. Nearby, adventurers can go horseback riding, go fishing, take a surfing lesson, rent ATVs or climb Sierra de la Laguna. The historic artist colony of Todos Santos, just eight miles away, abounds with restaurants, art galleries, shopping and bars.

The San Jose del Cabo airport is about an hour away from the hotel.

Travelzoo Tip: The roadway to the hotel was redone in early 2012, and the roads are safe to drive on. We recommend renting a car and exploring the surrounding areas of Cerritos Beach and Todos Santos. In addition, rooms are equipped with kitchens; stop at the local grocery store and stock up on food and beverages.
