The Deal
Zagat praises the New American cuisine served at local chef Arturo Boada's eponymous restaurant, giving it a rare
"extraordinary to perfection" rating for cuisine (28) and service (27). With this exclusive Local Deal for $49, two people can savor a three-course dinner at the
Best Neighborhood Restaurant 2012 (Houston Press), regularly $102.
Diners can select anything off the regular menu:
• Any tapas to share, like a 4-ounce filet served on a tomato slice and topped with blue cheese and onion rings; prosciutto with melon; or sauteed shrimp in a soy-ginger sauce over plantains that
CultureMap Houston hails as "mouthwatering"
• Any two entrees, like 16-ounce NY strip or veal chop; frutti di mare, which includes snapper, shrimp, clams, mussels and calamari served in a tomato broth; or ravioli stuffed with chicken and porcini in a white wine cream sauce topped with lump crab meat
• Any dessert to share, such as creme brulee
A dinner for four people is also available for $95. Or for $199, bring a group of eight people and dine for less than $25 per person.
