$65 - Dinner for 2: Iron Chef Contender Opens New Restaurant

The Deal

Vic Casanova was an "Iron Chef America" contestant and the executive chef at Culina at Four Season Beverly Hills, a restaurant he opened in 2010 that garnered rave reviews from publications such as the LA Times and Esquire. Now Casanova is onto his next project: Gusto in West Hollywood. This Italian eatery opened about two weeks ago and welcomes Travelzoo subscribers with an exclusive dinner for two. For $65, select dishes from every section of Gusto's menu and receive two glasses of wine, regularly $120.

This dinner -- set in Gusto's intimate 35-seat dining space blocks from the Beverly Center -- includes:

• Any two small plates, such as La Quercia prosciutto with crostini and burrata, and grilled baby octopus with a spicy chili sauce

• A choice of any pasta or any pizza to share, including the agnolotti with English peas, ricotta, mint and lemon, or the fungi pizza with a besciamella sauce, mozzarella, burrata, bacon and thyme

• Any two entrees from a list that includes Creekstone Farms flatiron steak, sweet potato and funghi misti, and black bass with sunchokes, broccolini and grapefruit

• Two glasses of wine, either Angelo Accadia Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Consono or Sangiovese Polesio; or, apply the $18 wine value toward a bottle with dinner
