The Deal

Feel the thrill of piloting a Cessna 172 with this deal for a Discovery Flight lesson from Crosswinds Aviation in Howell. For $65, Travelzoo subscribers can take to the sky with a 30-minute lesson, regularly $97.70.

Or for $125, upgrade to an hour lesson, regularly $195.40. With the hour lesson, students will have the opportunity to fly into regulated airspace and practice taking off and landing at various area airports.

Both deals are valid seven days a week through the middle of August. The time spent in the air can be counted toward obtaining a pilot's license. This deal makes a great gift for Father's Day (June 17).
