The Deal

This March, three unique shows will come to Stephens Auditorium in Ames for one-night performances -- the Tony Award-winning "Monty Python's Spamalot," acrobatic "Traces" and the China National Symphony Orchestra. Tickets to each show are more than 35% off for Travelzoo subscribers.

The China National Symphony Orchestra, direct from Beijing, will perform Xia Guan's "Requiem for the Earth," written for the people of the Sichuan province following the 2008 earthquake. Orchestra, Mezzanine and Loge tickets are $25 (reg. $40) for the performance Saturday, March 2, at 7:30 p.m.. 

Called "the most fun and memorable 90 minutes you will have all year" by Entertainment Weekly, "Traces" combines awe-inspiring acrobatics with infectious energy and street performance. Tickets are priced as follows for the show on Sunday, March 3, at 7:30 p.m.:

• $19 (reg. $31) ... Rear Main and Rear Balcony
• $26 (reg. $35) ... Orchestra, Middle/Side Main, Front Balcony and Loge

"Monty Python's Spamalot," the Tony Award winner for Best Musical, was hailed as a "no-holds-barred smash hit" by The New Yorker. Tickets to the show on Tuesday, March 5, at 7:30 p.m. are:

• $39 (reg. $50) ... Main Sides, Front Balcony and Loge
