The Deal

Uncover natural wonders during a two-night getaway to southern Colorado with this $129 offer that includes a $100 dinner for two. This exclusively negotiated deal at the La Veta Inn is available Feb. 1 - April 30 or, for $20 more, May 1-31.

Outdoor activities abound at this boutique at the base of the Cuchara Valley in Spanish Peaks Country. During the winter months, cross-country ski the wooded terrain or take a guided snowshoe excursion to a mountain lake for skating. With warmer weather comes hiking, biking and golf at the nearby championship course.

After all this exploration, sit down to a three-course meal with a choice of entrees that includes sweet onion and gruyere ravioli, peppercorn-crusted pork chop and prime rib. Each dish will be paired with an expertly selected wine flight.  

The La Veta Inn is in La Veta, Colo., about three hours south of Denver and three hours north of Santa Fe. Each guest room is unique and decorated by a local artist.
