$99 - Michelin-Recommended iNG: 10-Course Tasting Dinner

The Deal

The most recent Michelin Guide recommends iNG Restaurant on Fulton Market as a "playful and eccentric concept" that "walks the line between delicious and crazy," while The New York Times praises the cuisine that is "all over the map, in the best possible way." With this exclusive Local Deal, chef and self-described "flavor transformer" Homaro Cantu and his team will serve up a 10-course tasting menu with wine, cocktail and craft beer pairings for $99 per person. Book a table for two for $195.

This unique culinary journey starts with a cocktail per person upon arrival -- either a Kimura cocktail with vodka, St. Germain and grapefruit; a "smoked" Manhattan with scotch and bourbon; or a glass of sparkling prosecco. Then enjoy ever-changing dishes with multiple drink pairings. The menu, which switches themes about every six weeks, currently features items inspired by chef Cantu's new "Miracle Berry" cookbook. 

Recent menu inspirations include the films of Martin Scorsese and 1980s heavy metal. We recently visited during the "Nightmare Before Christmas"-inspired menu and loved the dessert course, featuring multiflavored gelatin squares made to look like tiny presents.
