The Deal

Centerstage Chicago wrote that Dragonfly Mandarin "staked its claim among some of Chicago's culinary elite," and Metromix praises the "upscale cuisine [and] swanky setting." With this deal, two can sample the diversity of Dragonfly's pan-Asian menu, including new sushi selections and family-style entrees, as well as cocktails, for $39, regularly up to $80.

Take a seat in the red-and-gold-accented, two-story space that Zagat calls "a delight to the senses" and select: 

• Any "Teaser" plate to split, like the beer-battered soft-shell crab served with spicy mayo or the duo of salmon and spiced tuna tartare, served in wasabi-sesame edible "spoons"

• Any of Dragonfly's new signature maki rolls to share, like the Scorpion served with shrimp tempura, soft-shell crab and unagi; or the Firecracker with hamachi, seared white tuna and jalapenos

• A family-style entree to split like the popular sesame chicken or the Dreaming Roast Duck, a variation of the traditional Peking duck and a chef's favorite (up to $25)

• Two drinks including cocktails, wine or beer; try the signature Dragonfly Martini made with raspberry sake and amaretto or channel your inner "Lost in Translation" Bill Murray with the Suntory Julep made with Japanese Suntory whiskey, simple syrup and muddled mint leaves (up to $14 each)
