$79 - AON Center: Private Club Dinner for 2 on 80th Floor

The Deal

Located atop the AON Center in downtown Chicago, the members-only Mid-America Club is normally reserved for those with access to this elite organization. With this Local Deal, however, Travelzoo subscribers can dine among the clouds overlooking downtown Chicago with a luxury dinner for two for $79. Or for $99, purchase a package that includes parking in the building's garage.

Take a seat in the formal dining room overlooking Navy Pier and Lake Michigan, or the more casual Grill Room with a view of River North and beyond, and select:

• Two appetizers like seared sea scallops served with mushroom risotto or prosciutto and melon with a port wine reduction in the dining room; or ahi tuna Napoleon with wasabi aioli and crab fritters with Cajun remoulade at the grill

• Two entrees including beef tenderloin and butter-poached lobster or pan-seared Atlantic halibut in the dining room; or steak frites and fire-grilled pork chops at the grill

• Two glasses of sparkling wine selected by the in-house sommelier

Diners can also choose to purchase any bottle of wine for 10% off with this deal. Guests are welcome to enjoy cocktails before dinner in the members-only lounge, and tours of the Club are available upon request.

Travelzoo Tip: Book a table on Wednesdays or Saturdays in the dining room for dinner with views of the Navy Pier summer fireworks shows -- from above the fireworks. Or, if they're available, ask for the private dining rooms on the building's south face for amazing views of Millennium Park.

Terms and Conditions
Vouchers can be redeemed starting Saturday, June 30, through Sept. 29, 2012. Reservations are required; must call 312-861-1100 to make reservation. Must provide voucher number to make reservation. Present voucher upon arrival to the club. Please arrive 15 minutes early for all reservations. A 20% automatic gratuity (applied per club policy) will be applied to the full value of every check. The Mid-America Club does not accept cash, so a credit card is required for tax, gratuity and any additional purchases. Must bring a picture ID to enter the building. The Mid-America Club has a business casual dress code: no jeans, no shorts, no tennis shoes or sandals allowed. Valid for dine-in only. Seasonal items subject to change. Dinner is served Tuesday-Saturday only. Club is closed on holidays. Limit 4 vouchers per table. Must be of legal drinking age to consume alcohol. This deal cannot be combined with any other offer.
