The Deal

Time Out Chicago says Cafe Ciao in the West Loop "has won the hearts of the neighborhood" and Centerstage Chicago calls it "a quaint little slice of Euro-cafe life." With this deal, subscribers can enjoy an Italian dinner with wine starting at $25 for two, regularly $57. Four people can dine for $49, regularly $114, and save even more on the same package.

The dinner for two includes:

• A starter to share like a plate of bacon-wrapped dates; empanadas filled with beef, spinach or chicken; or an antipasti plate with olives, red peppers, meats and cheeses

• Two main pasta courses or flatbreads including the popular prosciutto and fig flatbread or the house special rigatoni that the Chicago Reader called "a winner, with a creamy, savory tomato cream sauce and generous slices of spicy sausage"

• Two glasses of wine including Italian reds like a hearty 2003 Ripanera Chianti and a 2010 Sottimano Brachetto, or beers like Oberon and Heineken (up to $12 each)

Travelzoo Tip: Cafe Ciao features live music on Fridays and Saturdays and is just a couple blocks south of the new Morgan stop on the Green Line. It's also just off the Kennedy, and plenty of on-street parking is available on this stretch of West Madison. Keep an eye on the lot across the street for parking after 5 p.m.
