The Deal

When Geja's Cafe opened in 1965, the Chicago Tribune praised the "tempting selection" of wines and cheeses. Since then, according to Chicagoist.com, "the restaurant has so many awards for 'most romantic dining location' on its walls that it’s hard to see the wood paneling behind them." With this deal, two can enjoy a fondue experience for $30, regularly $60. This deal’s value can be used toward anything on the menu.

On our visit, we enjoyed a cheese fondue for two, with melted Gruyere flavored with white wine and spices and paired with grapes, apples and various breads for dipping, accompanied by two glasses of Geja's private reserve wine. We followed that with a chocolate fondue featuring marshmallows, fruit, graham crackers and pound cake dipped in hot melted chocolate.

Or, apply the credit toward any of Geja's Premier Dinners, like the Prince Geja's Combination, which starts with a cheese fondue with bread, apples and grapes, and then features an array of beef tenderloin, lobster tail, scallops and jumbo shrimp cooked at the table, and finishes with a chocolate dessert fondue.
