The Deal

AOL Travel hails Olde Mecklenburg Brewery as "one of the most famous breweries in Charlotte," and the Queen City Brewers Festival applauds its adherence to the Reinheitsgebot, a standard that classifies premium quality beer as containing only barley or wheat malt, hops, yeast and pure water. With this exclusive Local Deal for $20, two people can have a German-style brewery experience with beer and brats, regularly $40.

Start off in the tap room with a beer tasting for each person that includes four-ounce pours of every beer on the menu. The rotating list of three to four offerings changes weekly, but classics include OMB Copper and Captain Jack Pilsner, and the recently released Mecktoberfest.

After the tasting, relax in the beer garden while drinking a pint of your favorite brew paired with a bratwurst platter. Enjoy two brats; two sides such as sauerkraut, red cabbage or potato chips; and a dinner roll per person. If the weather is nice, you can expect to enjoy live music on the weekends.

Each person takes home a half-pint souvenir glass and can receive a 10% discount on Olde Mecklenburg Brewery apparel.
