The Deal

Discover the intricacies of winemaking with this tour of the Niagara wine region from Niagara Fun Tours. For $45 per person, receive roundtrip transportation between Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake, where you'll visit four wineries and have the opportunity to sample ice wine and conventional wine, regularly $123.  

Stops on this tour include:

• Konzelmann Estate Winery: Receive samples of some of the wines that won 10 medals at the 2011 Ottawa Wine Challenge and five medals at the 2011 international Canadian Wine Awards

• Diamond Estates: Attend a private outdoor tasting on the winery's 30-acre campus and try three of the estate's brands including 20 Bees, Dan Aykroyd Wines, Lakeview Cellars and Sundance Wines

• Reif Estate Winery: Explore this scenic winery and sample varietals like riesling, cabernet merlot and an award-winning Vidal ice wine produced from one of Reif's oldest vineyard blocks

• Joseph's Estate Wines: Embark on a guided tour of this 20-acre winery and vineyard while learning about the history and traditions of winemaking in the Niagara region. After the tour, enjoy three free samples from the winery's varietals of red, white, rose and ice wines.

This tour also includes a stop at the Kurtz Orchards Farm and Gourmet Marketplace to sample some of the locally produced foods. Please refer to website for pickup times and locations. Tours operate Fridays-Sundays from May-June and September-October. Tours operate Thursdays-Mondays in July and August.
