The Deal

Typhoon Asian Bistro has become a staple on Boylston Street, serving a wide variety of Asian-fusion fare since opening almost 12 years ago. For $39, Travelzoo subscribers receive $80 to spend on dinner at this OpenTable Diners' Choice Award winner in Copley Square.

Sit down in the dining room along the 35-foot waterfall-covered wall under hanging lanterns or enjoy the spring weather and dine alfresco on the patio. $80 worth of food is enough for dinner for two, which could include:

• Two appetizers, such as avocado salad with cucumber, crab and tobiko or tuna tataki with white radish served in a martini glass that The Boston Globe calls "spectacular"

• Two entrees, like sizzling pepper steak with scallions and bell peppers; the deluxe nigiri special served with the chef's maki and salad; or the Back Bay roll (yellowtail, crab, cucumber and avocado rolled and fried) and the Caterpillar Roll (broiled eel, cucumber, avocado, tobiko and sticky soy)

• One dessert to share, such as fruit flambe served with seared mixed fruits and ice cream or the Typhoon fried banana topped with chocolate sauce
