The Deal

Golf Inc. Magazine named The Links at Terranea the 2009 Development of the Year, and Golf California says "it is hard to pick favorites on a golf course that has so many incredible views." Now, Travelzoo subscribers can get a round of golf for two people for $89 at "Southern California's premier coastal resort destination" (Golf California). This deal is regularly $176 and includes lunch.

This deal is valid for any tee time (subject to availability). The Links at Terranea is a 9-hole, par-3 course -- the No. 2 such course in the country, according to Golf Magazine this year -- positioned on 102 acres on the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Catalina Island. Southland Golf Magazine says "players face championship-caliber holes ranging from 50 to 180 yards, artful bunkering and a range of classic strategic elements."

The deal includes lunch for two, with a $40 food and beverage credit per person, at any of the resort's eight on-site restaurants. Choose an upscale lunch at mar'sel, which lands on Zagat's Best of LA's South Bay list and earns an "extraordinary" (27) rating for its setting.
