The Deal

For $25, take in the scenery and wildlife that surround Chesapeake Bay with this Local Deal from Ultimate Watersports, which has been serving as Baltimore's largest kayak outfitter since 1985. Regularly $50, Travelzoo subscribers can embark on a two-hour self-guided kayak tour in a single for one person or double kayak that fits two people, only 30 minutes from downtown Baltimore.

Take off from the coastline at one of two starting points: Dundee Creek or Hammerman Beachfront. After brief instruction, receive a map with directions to help navigate the scenic destinations in the area. During the trip, be on the lookout for wildlife including osprey, bluebirds, foxes and bald eagles.

Ultimate Watersports provides life jackets and paddles; previous experience is not required. The Hammerman Beachfront location is open daily until Aug. 31 and Saturdays and Sundays only in September; Dundee Creek is open Saturdays and Sundays through Oct. 21.

Vouchers can be redeemed starting Monday, Aug. 20, through Oct. 21, 2012. Reservations are not required; subject to availability. All equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Kayaks must be returned by 5:45 p.m. Subject to weather conditions. Limit 1 voucher per person per visit (1 voucher can be used for 2 people for a double-seated kayak).
