Set in a world-class ski town in central Vermont, The Pointe at Castle Hill Resort is cutting this season's rates in half.

Stay Sunday-Thursday through March for $79 per night. Weekends are $189 per night (regularly $249).

All bookings come with a $25 credit toward a 50-minute massage at the full-service Aveda spa and a $25 credit toward a gourmet three-course prix fixe dinner for two guests at the Castle Restaurant. The resort also has hot tubs, pools and a fitness center.

This season showcases Okemo Mountain's majestic slopes along with groomed trails for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Charming boutiques and art galleries dot the streets of the nearby town center.

Note: There is a two-night minimum on Saturdays.
