Finding Orlando Hotel Deals
The Orlando area offers plenty of choices when it comes to hotels. Most tend to be within 10-20 minutes of the Disney parks and Universal Studios so guests are usually never too far from the main area attractions. Hotels range from budget-friendly Holiday Inns to more luxurious experiences like the Waldorf Astoria Orlando.

There are several Disney-owned properties that offer great amenities like direct access to the monorail for easy transportation to and from some of the parks, yet many of these hotels can be pricey. There are, however, a number of official Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotels that are more moderately priced and also offer great perks like shuttles to the parks and some even offer Disney character breakfasts -- a great way for kids to mingle with their favorite characters.

While Orlando is a popular year-round destination, it tends to get quite crowded in the summer months when kids are on vacation and it can also be very hot and rainy during this time. The winter holidays also draw many visitors so in order to avoid long lines it’s best to visit before or after these busy months.
