Emerging from a property-wide $25 million renovation, the DoubleTree by Hilton Metropolitan in New York City is slashing its prices by 45%.
Thursdays-Saturdays through Sept. 3 are $169 per night, and Sundays are discounted even further to $119 per night. Midweek stays are $199 per night.
Guests receive free Wi-Fi (a $15 daily value) and two free welcome drinks at the new lobby bar ($24 value). The hotel has refreshed everything else too, ushering sleek new furnishings into rooms covered in relaxing colors and fun patterns.
Right outside the hotel is where Marilyn Monroe stood over a particularly breezy subway grate. Other famous sights are close by, from Rockefeller Center to Grand Central Terminal.
