When prices at a hotel in Boston's posh Back Bay fall to $75 per night, guests are left with plenty of room in their budget for all the top shops and sights nearby.

The Boston Common Hotel is undercutting other area hotels by up to 40% with this deal that's valid daily Nov. 21 - Feb. 28. Add $24 per night to stay March 1-7, 13-31 and April 1-12, including St. Patrick's Day.

All guests receive free daily continental breakfast before setting out to peruse designer shops and upscale restaurants on Newbury Street, four blocks away.

Other popular spots like the city's largest park, Boston Common, and the historic Freedom Trail are a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. The Back Bay Train Station and two T mass-transit stops are within two blocks, making it easy to tour the city without a car.

Not available on: Nov. 26; Dec. 1, 20-26. There is a two-night minimum on Dec. 31.
