Charlotte Symphony presents Carl Orff's boisterous "Carmina Burana" with special guests the Oratorio Singers of Charlotte and Charlotte Children's Choir. Travelzoo subscribers can get tickets for nearly 45% off with a free drink voucher to the pre-concert reception.
General Admission seats are $22 (regularly $39) for performances Friday and Saturday, Feb. 24-25, at 7:30 p.m., at Knight Theater. The pre-concert reception begins at 6:30 p.m.
"Carmina Burana" features songs about love, lust and drinking. It is based on 24 Latin poems from the 13th century.
