David Mamet's "American Buffalo," winner of the Obie Award and New York Drama Critics' Best Play Award, is currently being staged at the Geffen Playhouse. Called "refreshing" and "thrillingly laid out" by The Los Angeles Times, subscribers can save up to 70% on tickets to select performances, including a "Lounge Friday" and "Wine Down Sunday" that include complimentary pre-show beverages.

Front Mezzanine tickets are now $17 (reg. $55-$65) for the following performances:

  • Sunday, April 28 at 7 p.m.
  • Friday, May 3 at 8 p.m. -- "Lounge Friday"
  • Saturday, May 4 at 3 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 5 at 7 p.m. -- "Wine Down Sunday"

"Lounge Friday" happy hour includes a pre-show reception with complimentary sparkling wine and non-alcoholic sparkling beverages in the Gil Cates Theatre Lobby. "Wine Down Sunday" begins with a complimentary pre-show wine sampling and a live DJ playing classic Southern California sounds. 

Mamet's two-act "American Buffalo" centers on three rough-hewn characters in a Chicago resale shop planning a scheme to recover a valuable buffalo nickel.
