Illinois residents can enjoy free admission (reg. $14) to the Chicago History Museum during Illinois Resident Discount Days this year:

  • Aug. 15-16; 22-23; 29-30
  • Sept. 4-6; 11-13; 18-20; 25-27
  • Oct. 2-4; Oct. 9-11

The museum, located in the Old Town neighborhood at Clark Street and North Avenue, is open 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on these days. Current exhibits include "Abraham Lincoln," "Unexpected Chicago" and "Investigating the American Flag."
