Hop aboard Dubai's new water taxi tourist boats for $42 (Dh150) per person -- and enjoy on-the-water views of Dubai's beaches and architectural gems.

This is a considerable savings considering you could easily shell out more than $100 on a Dubai boat tour.

Water taxis depart from the Jumeirah Open Beach Station daily at 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. for the 1.5-hour roundtrip boat ride. Approximately 10 passengers can be accommodated in one water taxi, and there is handicapped seating available.
