From here, you can catch flights to La Paz on Aerocon, Aerosur, Boliviana de Aviacion and TAM. Meanwhile, LAN Peru and TACA Peru offer direct flights from Lima to La Paz.

Begin your exploration of La Paz by visiting the city's center, Prado. This tree-lined street in the city's core is where you'll find the commercial district. Camacho Avenue in particular is the home to many corporate headquarters for Bolivia's banks and companies. Nearby, you'll find the historic Casco Viejo district, which is home to the famous Murillo Plaza. Besides many cultural landmarks, you will find a wide selection of luxury hotels, shops and restaurants in this region.
Venture outside of Prado to the residential neighborhoods of Sopocachi. This upscale district claims lavish hotels and gourmet residential district claims some of La Paz's largest buildings, including high-rise hotels. It is also home to many nice restaurants and several lovely mid-sized squares. Or head to the city's Southern District where you'll find La Paz's second commercial district. Here, in such neighborhoods as Zona Sur, you'll find swank lounges and chic clubs that cater to the area's affluent residents. Bolivia's largest shopping mall, the MegaCenter, is located in this district.
Located close to the city's center is the Miraflores neighborhood. In addition to the universities that call the area home, you will also find Estadio Hernando Siles Zuazo, Bolivia's largest sports complex. Miraflores also claims the Bolivian Andean Textile Museum, an institution devoted to preserving weavings and textiles from various Andean communities.
As for nightlife, you can find a variety of bars and clubs throughout La Paz. The city's downtown district is home to a number of nightspots. Check out the many pubs and bars that populate the streets near Murillo Plaza. For a cheap outing, head to Sagarnaga Street, while the Southern District caters to a more exclusive crowd.
