Search for Flights
Here are a few of the airlines and travel sites we search for the best flight deals...
Why Fly to Nadi?
Located on the West Coast of the main island of Viti Levu, Nadi is one of Fiji’s largest population centers and the primary transportation hub for all of Fiji. Nadi itself is a top South Pacific destination for shopping and resort accommodations, but savvy travelers search for cheap flights to Nadi when they plan to go anywhere throughout the Fiji Islands. Ferries, buses and charter flights move in and out of Nadi all day, carrying visitors to secluded coral beaches, charming resort villages and spectacular nature sites. And since Nadi is one of Fiji’s major metropolitan areas, spending a few days there is a great way to experience Fiji’s food, music and culture as the Fijians do.
Which Airlines Fly to Nadi?
Almost every flight to Fiji lands at Nadi International Airport (NAN), located just over five miles north of the city’s center. The only nonstop flight to Nadi from the continental U.S. is Air Pacific’s service from Los Angeles, but many U.S. visitors make a flight connection in Honolulu, where both Air Pacific and Continental Airlines fly regular routes to Fiji. Most other flights to Nadi originate in Australia and Southeast Asia with airlines like Virgin Blue, Korean Air and Air New Zealand.

Nadi Flight Tips
Though Nadi is pleasant year-round, its most popular tourism season is from July to September, when rain is infrequent and temperatures peak in the 80s. During this window, flights tend to be fuller, making it harder to find cheap flights to Fiji.
Quick Travel Guide to Nadi
Many visitors to the Nadi area spend their nights on Denarau Island, which juts out into Nadi Bay to the west of central Nadi Town. That’s where you’ll find several of the most prominent hotels in Nadi, as well as Port Denarau, the point of departure for most ferries to the outer islands. A huge retail center, several excellent restaurants and a variety of tourist services make the port one of Nadi’s busiest locales. The finer Denarau Island resorts have fun restaurants, cocktail lounges and top amenities like spas, water sports equipment and golf course access, prompting many visitors who are passing through to book a night in town before sailing off to the next island.
In Nadi Town itself, you’ll find a small but lively Main Street lined with local businesses, many of them souvenir shops with Fijian crafts. You’ll also see evidence of the strong Hindu culture cultivated by Nadi’s large and growing Indian population, particularly in the striking architecture of the Sri Siva Subramaniya temple, the area’s most famous attraction and the largest Hindu temple in the Southern Hemisphere.
If you have a few days between your flights into and out of Nadi, consider taking advantage of the well-connected transportation network to enjoy a day trip. Lautoka, an even larger coastal city, is just a 20-mile drive to the north, and ferries to and from the surrounding islands run all day long.
