Travel through November 2 with AirTran Airways' latest fare sale. Prices start as low as $43 each way, slashing as much as $170 off other airlines' roundtrip fares.

The lowest fares are available for travel on Tuesday or Wednesday. This sale includes summer dates -- which are rarely discounted.

Travelers recently awarded AirTran Airways top honors among all U.S. carriers, according to the latest Airline Quality Rating study. The report found the airline lost fewer bags, bumped fewer passengers and departed on-time more often that its competitors.
