Stratford Manor is a "relaxing and quiet retreat" (The Daily Telegraph) set within 21 acres of grounds, less than 10 minutes' drive from Stratford-upon-Avon. It's a good location from which to explore nearby attractions including Shakespeare's Birthplace and the Royal Shakespeare Company. You can take a stroll or a cruise along the River Avon, or go on a day trip to Warwick or Kenilworth castles, which are both less than 25 minutes' drive away.
Dinner is served in the Shakespeare Restaurant, and drinks can be enjoyed on the outdoor terrace and in the lounge. Leisure facilities are free to use and include a sauna, a steam room, and an indoor swimming pool. A range of spa treatments are available for a supplement.
