About the hotel
The New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel is in the heart of the Lake District, a scenic part of the country that's inspired poets and artists for centuries—Condé Nast Traveller describes it as the "English landscape at its most epic". Originally built as a farmnhouse, the property gets its name from the Dungeon Ghyll ravine and is surrounded by six acres of mature gardens with views of the surrounding mountains.
