The tour and talk was very entertaining with a funny guy. The restaurant was lovely but cold. It had a fantastic view but unfortunately the weather was not clement. The meal was excellent. The staff did not have our booking when we arrived. I had sent them a copy of our vouchers 2 months before but they hadn’t read the reply I sent them after they initially contacted me for the voucher details.

We booked an overnight stay in the on-site accommodation which is at the bottom of an extremely steep hill. The apartment was nice but tired. It was extremely cold when we stayed and the heating was not adequate for the size of the rooms. There was a log burning stove but none of us had used one before and it took a long time to get it going! Once established it was very warm but cold when we got up next morning. The floors were laminated wood which must have been cleaned with a very wet mop as all the laminate had risen and broken off. Needed some updating but extremely cheap!

There wasn't much of a vineyard to see, although the guide did his best to entertain and inform. The afternoon tea was exceptional and the view from the restaurant was fabulous.
