The waitress we had at dinner was lovely s real asset to the hotel and the bed was clean and comfortable
Other Comments
The evening meal was very disappointing. We had beef and lamb . The beef was like jelly ( I asked for medium?) it was tiny and tough. We were given one small dish of frozen chips with a bit of Parmesan sprinkled on and we were offered a dish of broccoli with almonds we don’t like broccoli so we asked for carrots which we got . I would have expected for fine dining £100 for the two of us to eat drinks were extra that we would have at least had a selection for f vegetables especially as the meat was inedible. I didn’t complain as we don’t go away to do that . My husband used the two coffee sachets that were in the room he did ask for some more they never arrived! Breakfast was ok but nothing special could have done with more continental selection. The knob was missing off the tea pot lid so was very awkward and hot to open to stir the tea . Room was ok but we have had much better and cheaper from travel zoo . All in all very disappointing which is a shame it was a treat for our annoying
