The Grade II-listed site was the last home of Prince Philippe, a pretender to the throne of France. Given its remote location, it became a BBC broadcasting centre during WWII. It has a special connection with the "Doctor Who" franchise.
The interiors include French features like intricate oak panelling and garden-facing window seats. The fleur-de-lys pattern has been used extensively throughout.
Dine at the formal Fleur de Lys Brasserie with views of the nearby Bredon Hill. There are formal gardens to explore and a games room with a pool table.
The market town of Evesham is 10 minutes' drive away. The Round Evesham Walk takes you past historic sites and along River Avon.
The property lies between the Cotswolds and the Malvern Hills National Landscapes.
