The booking was not good, trying to communicate with them was not easy as they did not reply to my emails eventually contacted them via telephone. but apart from that once we arrived everything was good.

The Blue Boar is a very attractive old building. The staff were pleasant and very helpful helping us to book a taxi. The food was excellent. .

Needed to be in the area for a gift of wine tasting at a local vineyard. Arrived Sunday lunch time. Was able to get a table for lunch. Seems popular with locals. Breakfast next morning was good quality. Easy to get a taxi to and from vineyard. Room 1 was very spacious, comfortable with good en-suite. Also a short drive to main area of Stratford upon Avon. Well kept and decorated, nice exterior with a separate conservatory where we watched Euros final. Only disappointment was the result.

When trying to make the booking I had to contact the Inn several times as they never rang me back when promised. We were supposed to have a deluxe room but both our bed, room and shower room were extremely small. We spoke to other guests who had larger rooms. However the room etc were spotlessly clean and the toiletries supplied a good quality. The breakfast was good quality but the choice very limited.

Our room looked over a very busy junction and was quite noisy for a country location.

Found the Breakfast offering very disappointing. Options other than Full English very lacking. Can however recommend the Indian options at dinner they were very good.
