"An old-style pub with friendly staff. Pleasant restaurant with a lot of character, including a wood burning stove. Not a fan of background music generally, mainly due to the style and distracting volume, but in this case the music was decent and at a sensible, unobtrusive volume. Food was tasty and plentiful."

Enjoyed Most
The food and our company of friends.
Other Comments
It would be far nicer to allow quests to upgrade to other items on the menu by charging the diference in prices. It was slightly embarassing as, our friends were our quests and the talk of what was 'allowed' was intrusive.
