Lovely hotel with friendly helpful staff. The bedrooms were of a good size with large comfy beds + large bathroom with jacuzzi bath. The dinner & breakfast food were very good.

The taps were a bit tired looking in bathroom but this didn’t bother us but imagine others may be more picky.

We enjoyed our two night stay at Hatton Court. The main part of the hotel is welcoming and friendly with a comfortable seating area and a nice big log fire. We stayed in tithe annexe, sympathetically designed to match the older building. First impression was tainted by the old and very stained hallway carpets but.our executive room in the annexe was well appointed and comfortable. The sink tap was a bit quirky but we had lashings of hot water and slept soundly. We ate in the Tara restaurant on our first evening at the hotel and the food was excellent. Portions generous and well presented. Breakfast menu was varied and well cooked. Wines and bar prices as expected for a hotel stay. We also enjoyed a cream tea before leaving on Sunday afternoon. Warm scones and plenty of jam and thick cream in front of the crackling log fire. All in all a very nice mini break - a warm sanctuary over a wet February weekend.

What made this, our first stay at the hotel, memorable, was the excellent staff. Every one of them was friendly, helpful and genuinely interested in their visitors. Exemplary service on all fronts. They are a credit to the hotel.

The staff at this hotel were great. I liked the food and the service. I just felt the rooms were very dated and in need of some cosmetic improvements. There was mould around the window sills in the room. The carpets were a bit worn. It just needs an update. In the bathroom the lead on the glass was bent all over the place. The bathroom looked like it was from a hospital. It didn't feel very nice. The taps had missing tops. The finish on the bath and surround was very unattractive.

4th visit to this hotel. The main part of the hotel is a stunning Cotswolds building and there is a newer block containing further bedrooms to the rear. The hotel is perfectly situated with fantastic views over Gloucestershire. Our room was large and spacious and very comfortable just looking a little bit tired perhaps but still excellent value for money and spotlessly clean. The team at Hatton Court are always so friendly and accommodating and really can’t do enough for you. All of the food we had was absolutely excellent. Our cream tea on arrival consisted of two scones each and tea or coffee of your choice which was replenished if required. Our main meals were all beautifully presented and very flavoursome. Breakfast this morning was equally if a high quality and with plenty of choice. We would definitely return and can recommend highly.

The hotel was warm and welcoming, the staff were charming and very helpful, our room was warm, comfortable and quiet, and our evening meal and breakfast were delicious. We really enjoyed our stay. We may go back when the weather is warmer so we can sit out on the decking area which has a great view.
