Staff very helpful and accommodating. Bedroom and public rooms very clean. We were given a very large room with a sea view for a £15 upgrade as we had our 3 year old grandson with us. Good choice at dinner but quality of food disappointing. Breakfast good and lots of choice. Convenient location with easy parking at the hotel but usual annoying charge for doing this. Pleasant bar with large outside seating area. Antiquated very slow lift.

We had a wonderful 3 days at Collingwood Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly and the food excellent.

The games room with table tennis, pool and table football was a big bonus for us.

Only gripe: having to pay £12.50 to park the car. Reminds me of 'Hotel California ' line which is 'you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave'. To paraphrase 'you can book any room you like, but you can never park'!! Seems daft to me🤔

Great location near beach and town centre. Clean and modern decor throughout the hotel. The pool and games room were a bonus, will come back with family. Compliments to the chef, the food was excellent too.
