Location. Sun terrace. Stunning hall.
Other Comments
It is badly organised. Difficult to find the actual afternoon tea room. No staff on hand and I had to go hunting for one. Service was poor. Had to ask for everything. Tables not even cleared our laid fire tea Waitress was fast more attentive to those not on an offer so was made to feel like the poor relation. Discount was not far off the asking price. Location is stunning though and afternoon tea was good but not exceptional.

A beautiful house., with welcoming staff.
Joyce our waitress, went over and above in looking after us. She was so extremely attentive throughout. Constantly checking if we needed more tea and proactive in giving us doggie bags, to go home with. The food was lovely and plentiful.
She also told us that we could have an audio tour of some of the house, which we wouldn't have known about and consequently took up the offer.

Impressive hotel. Nice surroundings. Good welcome. Afternoon tea was very good. The only issue which spoiled the experience was the waiting time. Almost one hour from arrival to receiving the food. Tea was supplied after approx 30 minutes . Prosecco a few minutes later. By the time the food arrived we had drunk all the tea. Venue appeared busy but no reason or apology was provided. We could also over hear other customers complaining about the waiting time.

Very impressive building and grounds
Other Comments
Very little choice of cakes. Just carrot cake, dry chocolate tart and a few macaroons. The scone was not freshly made or warm. The sandwiches were very large but tasty.
We were the only couple having the tea in the room so it lacked atmosphere
The staff were very pleasant and attentive
