Voucher Cancellation & Refund Policy: Within 14 days of purchase, Travelzoo will give you a full refund if you change your mind or can't find dates that suit you. The interior of the hotel feels fresh, well decorated and maintained. Hopefully the exterior work that is in progress will result in the same good standard of decoration which will give a better exterior impression on arrival. All staff that assisted us were friendly and helpful. One member of the team went above and beyond with his level of service. Andre was our breakfast server, his manner was excellent, interaction just perfect and simply gave very professional service.

Staff we think still in training so some finesse needed. They didn't ask if we would like wine. We had to request. They said they would explain food as it arrived but this was a little hurried and not done with much knowledge . Understand staff training on the job so just more training needed. Food good except for one course. Pork a but dry and tough. Personally I left most of this dish.

We went for the 7 course tasting menu, which was excellent: well balanced, varied, interesting and delicious. The chefs had chosen unusual dishes which worked well. Staff were friendly, mainly efficient; room and bathroom delightful.
Other Comments
I like the way of offering training to students in a real high class setting. Where the service fell down was in the restaurant where some waiting staff, although willing, Iacked finesse and knew nothing about the food they were serving. I put this down to being the beginning of their training, and wish them the best for the future.

Very good deal with your special offer , but it looks a bit expensive without that. Lovely efficient staff. Dinner excellent, but breakfast not good because it was mostly cold (was supposed to be hot!).

We had an excellent room and thoroughly enjoyed the seven course taster menu. The staff were polite, pleasant and extremely efficient. Could find no fault with our stay.
Other Comments
If you have walking difficulties as I have, would not recommend rooms from 201 as there are a great many steps to climb. There is an adequate lift in the hotel but it does not service these rooms.
