More Reasons to Go
- Broadstairs' Victoria Gardens, clifftop promenade, and Viking Bay are less than 10 minutes' walk from the hotel.
- The Daily Telegraph calls The Yarrow, "a smart hotel with spacious, top-quality rooms". The hotel is housed in a Jacobethan-style building constructed in 1894 as a place for children to convalesce. The Grade II-listed building was extensively renovated prior to opening in 2016, while retaining much of its historic character.
- The Dickens House Museum is a 10-minute stroll from The Yarrow. It houses artefacts of the Victorian author, who penned the much-loved novel David Copperfield while staying in Broadstairs. (Note: the museum is closed from 29 October, 2023).
- Follow the coastline north to arrive at Stone Bay, lined with multicoloured beach huts; take a paddle at Joss Bay; or admire the photogenic chalk stacks at Botany Bay.
- Margate is approximately 15 minutes' drive from the hotel. Widely regarded as the epitome of a British seaside town, its home to amusement arcades and a retro funfair, Dreamland. You'll also find vintage shops, a distinct cultural vibe, and the Turner Contemporary Gallery.

Everything was very good, but our evening meal which was all good was spoilt when we received our bill and found we had been charged for the water and added service charge , most restaurants supply still water (tap) now and we had already added a tip as we would normally do. It was a shame after a good experience.

From the moment of arrival, everything was perfect. A short walk into Broadstairs after an efficient check in. Friendly bar service and later, a superlative meal. I thought each course was my favourite until the next one.
I enjoyed the evening so much I am now booked in for lunch with a group of friends. Thank you to everyone at the Yarrow.

An amazing building which has been restored to reflect its history. Bright spacious bedroom with quirky bathroom up a few steps. We enjoyed the 7 course tasting menu with wine flight, it was exceptional. Breakfast is a buffet with option to order extras and although the waiting staff were young they were very efficient and nothing was too much trouble.
