A cosy, comfortable, friendly and very welcoming hotel, we greatly enjoyed our stay and would recommend Cottage Lodge to all our friends and family. The White Tails restaurant associated with the hotel was a rare find - delicious food, well presented and imaginative, and at very reasonable rates. Thankyou to Matthew (chef) and Ramsey (owner), and to Kelly in the hotel!

Despite very wet weather the location gave us access to plenty of indoor events. Very comfortable and definitely a bit different as an eco hotel. Lovely staff - helpful and human.

Loved the cosy ambience of the hotel and the wooden bed in my room was amazing. The hotel was spotlessly clean and all the staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was very good and I had a good meal in the on site restaurant.

An enjoyable one night stay at the Cottage Lodge Hotel. A warm welcome from Jackie although she was the only member of staff on duty and seemed to be rushed off her feet! Lovely room, with a tasty breakfast. We also enjoyed the little extras included in the Travelzoo deal.

All staff were friendly & extremely helpful. Room was clean & comfortable. We loved the facilities in the Snug...copies of walks, local eatery menus, milk in fridge to take to your room, honesty box for drinks & free cake !! The breakfast was amazing, huge choice of hot & cold, you could have whatever you wanted. A lovely touch was the personalised parking space.

This hotel is very special. We drove in to find a parking Sign with Mr Mrs Searight..Welcome! A special spot for us.What a fab start to a 2 day break. Then we went inside to be greeted by a smiley Kelly with the offer of a cuppa and a crumpet!! Yes please and in no time at all the tea and 2 crumpets each arrived! Lots of home made jam too! Then we had had our tea, Kelly carried our bags up to the Rhinefield room which is truly wonderful! All the wood was AMAZING.The bed, the mirror and the bedside tables. All so lovely.

There is a special connection with the New Forest..they have taken the trouble to source local eggs, jams etc as well as many of the rooms being furnished with hand made furniture all from fallen trees from the Forest. What a clever boy Rob Dyer is! Well done..we will be back whether you like it or not!!! the way...GREAT restaurant too..thank you Ramsey!
