Why We Love It

  • The Deddington Arms Hotel is a 16th-century country inn set off a market square in the quaint village of Deddington, 15 minutes' drive from the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty
  • Banbury, a lively market town associated with the nursery rhyme "Ride a Cock Horse", and Broughton Castle — a moated, fortified manor with ornamental gardens — are both less than 15 minutes' drive from the property
  • The hotel is 20 minutes' drive from Blenheim Palace, 35 minutes' drive from Oxford city centre, and 45 minutes' drive from Bletchley Park
  • Silverstone Circuit is 30 minutes' drive from the hotel, while Warwick Castle is 40 minutes away by car
  • There's a traditional oak-beamed bar and restaurant, featuring slate floors and a log fire
  • The hotel has increased hygiene regulations to prevent the spread of Covid-19 — there is a one-way system in the bar and restaurant, and housekeeping will not enter the room during your stay (fresh towels will be provided on request)
  • See all our Christmas gift deals
Parking is free. Junction 10 of the M40 is 15 minutes' drive from the hotel. Banbury railway station is 15 minutes' drive away.

The stay was a suprize for a friend who was 82 whilst staying there . The only down of the stay was that we were not able to use the passes for Blenham palace or any of other attractions on offer as they closed as a result oj the covd 19 virus . which is a shame as that was one of the attractions of the deal when I booked . The hotel and its staff however were excellent .

Other Comments
Bathroom floor was dirty with little piles of hair in each corner! Room above our room 25 had very squeaky floorboards so really noisy. Unfortunately the people in that room walked to bathroom and flushed it 8 times from when we went to bed until 7.30am. Consequently we have very little sleep on the second night. Other small issues were very easily remedied by the lovely reception ladies so will not mention. Out
